Greece offers a uniquely unhurried take on European living - where rustic charm meets raw beauty, and the simplest pleasures leave the most lasting impressions. Over the years, its timeless character has seeped into the heart of many of my projects, offering endless inspiration for interiors grounded in warmth, texture, and ease.

There’s something about the Greek islands in particular - their effortless elegance, their sun-bleached buildings and hand-built textures - that speaks to a slower, softer way of life. Whether it’s the earthy crunch of a fresh Greek salad or the gentle shadow play beneath a wicker cabana roof, every detail whispers of simplicity done well.

One moment that etched itself into my creative memory was a trip to Mykonos in 2016. The woven textures and natural structures I encountered there shaped the vision for The Beach House project, where I lined the ceiling with rattan - a quiet homage to the rooftops that had enchanted me under the Aegean sun.

TRAVEL NOTES

TRAVEL NOTES

My love affair with Greece began straight after school, leaving the UK in search of adventure. The islands offered a taste of the old world, beautifully affordable and yet wholly transportive - an escape into light, sea, and soul. Even now, it remains a favourite retreat when I crave grounding, simplicity, and a reminder of what truly matters.
